Marcos Alonso puts pressure on Chelsea for Serie A move

Latest reports in Italy claim Marcos Alonso is reportedly pushing Chelsea to let leave for a new Serie A experience with Inter.

The 30-year-old Spain international is no stranger to Italian football, having played for Fiorentina from 2013 to 2016.

He is struggling for regular playing time at Stamford Bridge, especially if Emerson Palmieri remains amid on-going Napoli talks.

Alonso had already been linked with Inter as part of Chelsea’s bid for Achraf Hakimi, but that never materialised, as the full-back went to Paris Saint-Germain instead.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are asking for €15-20m for Alonso, whereas Inter would prefer a loan with option to buy.

It’s reported in Italy that Alonso is pushing Chelsea to let him leave, but his contract runs to June 2023.

The English club paid €23m to sign Alonso from Fiorentina in 2016.

Roma had also shown an interest, before agreeing terms with Palmeiras for Matias Viña instead.

PSG fans protest against Paul Pogba move, remind Man United star of his mother’s warning

Paris Sant-Germain fans are in protest against the potential signing of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Parisians want to bring the Frenchman to his homeland after he rejected United’s latest contract offer.

The banner – which protests against the potential signing – reads: “Pogba, you should listen to your mother, she doesn’t want you here, neither do we.”

Arsenal ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands

Arsenal are ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands to bring the Chelsea striker to the Emirates this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners have emerged as the frontunners to sign Abraham with Blues boss Thomas Tuchel ready to offload the 23-year-old this summer.

Abraham has popped up with regular goals for Chelsea – and shown his ability during loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa – but Tuchel appears to be unconvinced, leaving the forward out of multiple of his matchday squads last season.

A potential stumbling block to Abraham’s move to Arsenal was his wage demands – he is currently on around £80,000 a week and is said to want around £125,000.

But the Daily Express say Arsenal have indicated in talks that they are prepared to meet Abraham’s demands as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his attacking options.

Inter Milan tell Chelsea cost of signing of Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea will have to fork out a nine-figure fee to land former Man Utd ace Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer.

Borussia Dortmund are adamant that Haaland will remain with them for at least one more season, while Chelsea would need to pay in the region of £160m in order to sign the Norway international this summer.

Reports in Italy outline the Serie A champions’ asking price of £102.5million for their star striker.

Inter are set to defend their Scudetto title next season but financial difficulties have led to player sales dominating their summer so far.

Achraf Hakimi has already left for Paris Saint-Germain with Chelsea said to be keen on Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge.

However, the Italians are intent on keeping their man, who has committed his future to the club.

According to Tuttosport, only a bid topping the £100m mark would make them consider selling Lukaku, 28.
