Sassuolo star Jeremie Boga has refused to rule out a return to Chelsea after making waves in the Serie A, scoring against Juventus in his club’s 2-2 draw in Turin.
The 22-year-old joined Serie A side Sassuolo for a reported fee of £3.5million in July 2018.
Following his impressive spell of form in Italy, he has been linked with a move back to Stamford Bridge, report The Sun.
Speaking about the speculation, he said: “I have no regrets [leaving Chelsea]. Everything in its time.
“It certainly was not the time for me to play for Chelsea. I always keep it in a corner of my head.
“If I continue to do what I do, work hard, maybe I’ll go back one day.”
The ex-Chelsea star heaped praise on his former team-mate and close pal Tammy Abraham.
Speaking to Foot Mercato, the Sassuolo winger said: “For those who do not know him, it’s impressive what he does.
“I’ve known him since we were little, we are of the same generation 97 in Chelsea. I know his potential.
“He has always been a scorer, scoring 20 to 25 goals per season in all categories of youth.
“So what he does today does not surprise me. I am very happy for him.”
